The Aerobús is a shuttle bus that connects Terminals T1 and T2 of Barcelona Airport with the city center. The buses operate around the clock, 365 days a year, with very short intervals. So, you don't need to worry about timetables.
At Terminal T1, the bus stop is located on the underground level 0. Simply follow the signs. On the way from the arrivals hall to the bus stop, you will pass by the tourist information office, where you can pick up pre-booked Barcelona Cards, for example. The collection point is located next to the entrance to the airport chapel under the escalator leading to the terminal's underground level.
If you are coming from the city center, there is an additional bus stop on level 3 for disembarking. However, you cannot board there in the opposite direction.
At Terminal T2, there are two bus stops served by Line A2. The line starts at Terminal T2B, located towards T2A. The second stop is in front of Terminal T2C. You can reach both stops by going directly to the exit from the arrivals hall. At T2B, you will also pass by the tourist information office.
The route to the city center includes several stops where you can transfer to the metro, FGC, or Renfe (you will need additional tickets, such as the Hola BCN! pass). Both lines stop at Plaça Espanya, Gran Via - Borell, Plaça Universitat, and the final stop at Plaça Catalunya on the way from the airport to the city center. However, you cannot board at Plaça Universitat in the opposite direction.

Tickets can be purchased at machines (cash or credit card), from the bus driver (cash, please have the exact change ready), or in advance online. Other tickets are not valid on the Aerobús.
Our tip: Book the Barcelona Transport Pass. This is a package of tickets for the Aerobús and the Hola BCN ticket. With this you can travel on public transport in Barcelona for 48-120 hours from the first use.
The Aerobús is suitable for wheelchairs; they can be secured for the journey. The buses have a ramp for boarding.
You can take your luggage with you on the bus. In the middle, there are generously sized storage options. Luggage is included in the fare.
You can also transport bulky luggage such as strollers or bicycles. What you have transported on the plane can also be taken on the Aerobús. Please note that if there is no space for oversized luggage, you will need to board the next bus.
Pets are allowed on board if they are transported in a carrier. Guide dogs are allowed on board while leashed.
The Aerobús operates 24/7 every day of the year, including holidays and New Year's Eve. During the night, buses run every 30 minutes, while during the day, they operate every 5-20 minutes.
The journey from the airport to Plaça Catalunya and vice versa takes approximately 35 minutes.
The Aerobús offers several advantages, making it a popular choice for transfers between the airport and the city center of Barcelona:
For mobility within the city center, we recommend the Hola BCN! ticket, which is also included in the Barcelona Card.
